We have no pecuniary interests with either Guinness nor the Irish Tourist Board. The information given are just our own personal opinions. Ireland is such a beautiful country to visit, albeit, the weather is not always idea, nor can it a particularly cheap place to stay. The people are so very friendly and make you very welcomed.

If you enjoy traditional Irish music, you will not be disappointed. Most pubs have live music whether it be organised or impromptu! The Irish seem to have a most relaxed way of live, particularly if you visit the rural areas. Places like Dublin are much the same as you would expect from any large city, although Cork does have a more casual way of life.

Visit Crookhaven almost the most southerly part of Ireland near Brow Head where Marconi did his Trans Atlantic tests in the early 1900s. There's a marvellous pub called O'Sullivans right on the harbour that sells a magnificent pint of Guinness. If you like seafood, then this is the place to go for fresh crab,  salmon and most shellfish.
